When using this as a big pc monitor, so the TV and Smart features are simply an added bonus. As soon as I got it unboxed, I plugged within the HDMI output from my late-model AMD 7850 video card, set it to 1920x1080, and was very disillusioned with the image quality. It ran off the display and all the pieces seemed fuzzy. No quantity of tweaking in the AMD control panel made any significant difference.
I used to be about to pack it up when I stumbled across a review right here on Amazon where any individual briefly talked about changing the supply name. He did not say how, so I needed to determine it out. Just hit SOURCE on the distant, followed by TOOLS after which EDIT NAME on the menu. Change the identify to both "PC" or "PC-DVI" and the image immediately clears up. You get 1:1 pixel mapping and all the things appears great! This made such a huge distinction I thought I might share because it didn't seem to be talked about anyplace else.
